Even if the President said let's accept more people from Norway. Again, what's the problem? We should be taking-in immigrants from countries that share our values, right? People in Norway have a value system that's closet to ours than Syria, right? But, in the end, what the President is arguing for is a system of immigration based on merit. Not on diversity. Merit. What will each immigrant to do us? Instead of what will this country - AKA our tax dollars - do for them? That's out right as Americans. And it only makes sense that people from Europe are more likely to fit that bill. So, where's the controversy? Answer.
